Restaurateur Jesse Hughes, formerly Vue Grand Queenscliff, newest venture teamed with Sarah Horsburgh, Matt Baird and the rest of the ALMA team building on their willing formula of a distinguished menu, edgy styling and exceptional service, delivering yet another decadent dining experience.
The space itself is gorgeous with features reminiscent of Europe; charmingly designed by Elly Featherstone at Flux Interior.
The menu is influenced around seafood and vegetables with dishes such as Lobster salad with chives & mayo, cos lettuce leaves and toasted panko with caviar or Cured Yellow fin tuna with buttermilk, cucumber & radish. For those who love game they offer Dry aged Whole duck – two confit legs, pan fried breasts and duck sausage.
Dessert comes in the form of Chocolate, banana & caramel, choux bun or Blue cheese tart with quince ice cream & hazelnut.
