Come and embrace local and regional contemporary craft makers and artists together with those from further afield at the fabulous Geelong Art Space.
Housed in a heritage building dating back to 1915, established as one of the first florists in Geelong. This is situated in the Arts and Culture Precinct of the Geelong CBD and only a few minutes walk from Geelong Gallery, Geelong Arts Centre and close to laneway cafes of Little Malop Street.
Their current exhibition, [Wall]flower, has just been extended to finish on February the 26th 2022. This is a group exhibition curated by artist, Katherine Marmaras.
The exhibition features works that push the boundaries of contemporary art and craft practices by highlighting and bringing them together; bringing them to the forefront in a contemporary context so that they are no-longer considered as ‘wallflowers’.
Exhibiting artists and makers include: Di Ellis, Deborah McHugh, Ema Shin, Jess Hall, Katherine Marmaras (curator), Mary-Ellen Belleville and Miranda Brett.
