It takes 8 hours to complete the whole trail, but honestly, just go as far as you would like and double back once you’re ready for a post-walk snack. The trail starts from old Drysdale railway station and concludes at the Bellarine Peninsula Railway.

If it’s coastal views you prefer, then the Ocean Grove Beach to Barwon Heads loop will not disappoint. This easy, low-impact stroll is entirely flat (easy on the paws) and offers brilliant sea views. Hot tip: Park at the 5th carpark along Barwon Heads - Ocean Grove Road and head toward the beach via the stairs until you reach Barwon Heads bridge.
You Yangs - East-West walk-Grade: Easy to moderate
This beautiful bush trail promises spectacular views and lookouts. The hike circumnavigates Flinders Peak which is the highest summit in the You Yangs so 360 panoramic views are guaranteed. Your four-legged buddies are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. Note: You may encounter steep inclines every so often but it is otherwise an easy, scenic walk.
